I'd settle for that at the end of May - especially as Bolton will have been relegated by then.

We can all dream can't we?

So, if we win our game against Leicester, we are equal with Leeds. Win by more than 1 goal (come on!) and we are fully top.

Let's just hope it isn't downhill from here (as you might think after yesterday's match)

the main thing is NOT to become overjoyed at the start. the race is long and we've been here before, although I tend to believe this side is a tad different.

If I can, let me make an observation here, last year we struggled so much because we failed to field a healthy side for any extended period. We played a lot of youth in the side and they had to grow up big time. We can see how much that has paid off and how much progress has been made.

We'll have to wait and see how the season turns out, but all signs point to us moving in the right direction.

It's amazing how things have worked out.

We cried out all last season for a left winger to be in the team, but Bobby left out Glass. Can anyone honestly say that Glass is better than Robert?

We cried out for another striker. Although we were all disappointed at first, Bellamy has turned out to be superb so far.

Left back as well, we now have Elliott, who has played two cracking games (albeit one at centre back)

I'm definitely more optimistic than last season.

I think Robbie Elliott is the dogs dangly bits. However, I have a feeling his lack of pace will prove to be a problem in some games.

After watching him against Brentford, I've a feeling he might be a better choice at CB. He is strong, decent in the air, reads the game well, and is an excellent tackler. However, that would leave us short at LB unless Olivier Bernard can get a few starts and show what is capable of doing defensively.

Agree with all, ,,,,,,,,, just like to add that Griffin at right back was a much better choice than that other player.

cue softie....

At the start of the season, when we saw our opening fixture, I doubt anyone here would have reckoned on us getting 8 points out of them. Enjoy it !
