Has anyone tried the new improved Abrahamsson Rapidgrip for the M Leica Rapidwinder? I have and I think it feels great. Just right. Perfect.

Anyone have any feelings about this?

The Rapidgrip came out in Oct. 2000. I got mine directly from the hands of Tom and Tuulikki in Nov. 2000. It had the fresh modification of a finger groove. Readers might remember that I found mine a little too big for my hand, so I modified it with a file and added leather. At least one reader has asked me to post a photo. Instead I suggest you hit the Abrahamsson Rapidwinder website. When visiting the Abramhamson's home in Vancouver for a feew hours at the beginning of Sept. I played with a Leica M-6 with a glossy black Rapidgrip and fell in love with it. The new R-grip feels close to the modifications I made--the groove is deeper and the palm-side of the grip has been slimmed. It think the new modifications are superior to mine.

Tom looked well and is on his way to recovery.
