Some say life must go on, some say sport should be stopped until after the weekend.Whatever your individual preference, I need to talk about something other than the tragedy. This is not disrespect - I think it was Abe Lincoln during the civil war who said something like 'if I don't laugh I shall die'.
Anyway, tomorrow we have Man United, and I for one will be looking to forget temporarily the trouble of the world and support my team. I think we'll win, after going behind, and I think it'll be 2-1 and a great day out. I'll be shouting myself hoarse and singing my heart out for the lads. See you all at St James'.

I've gotta get away from this aswell. Looking forward to the match tommorow ,can honestly see us winning.
One thing I must say is that I hope the Ryder cup goes ahead in a fortnight, I think it'll do everyone the world of good to get back to normality.

Sorry lads, but Rob Lee has clobbered any chances we had of a good result by making his gob go in the Chronic that we can beat manure.Of course we think we can win, or what's the point of turning out ? but it's always the kiss of death to say anything positive.

That's what I'm counting on Alan. It seems that whenever I'm convinced we're going to be well and truly whupped, we come out with a point or 3. Though I did make a rash win prediction on the other thread. That may have jinxed us.
