Here is an article that was published just before Bush's inaugeration. There are a lot of interesting things said in the article, particularly about the position of the planet mars at the time of inaugeration, and the aspect Bush's birth chart makes to Afghanistan.

I post this not for the skeptics of the world, but for those who want to bring an open mind to another perspective.

General:

People deal with tragedy many different ways. Some will only get comfort from enlisting and blowing up arabs. Others will only get comfort from getting behind those who will have to carry out the retaliations. Still others will put their hearts and souls in the hands of God as they understand God.

Response to the tragedy within all of us will take in the full spectrum of human emotion. Some will refuse to let themselves feel. Others will cry for days, weeks, years. There is no on explanation for the terrible loss of human life. Catholic priests will say the dead have gone to a better place. Atheists will mourn the turning of flesh to worms and then dust.

Some, myself included, turn to other forms of metaphysics to glean insights into the events. There are many languages-the languages of religion, sociology, anthropology, psychology, and multitudinous other languages that will attempt to explain why this happened-no one of them will capture it all.

I offered the astrology article to those on the board who I know would appreciate it. Denigrating one person's attempt to explain the ultimately unexplainable is divisive, and counter-intuitive to us all joining together and bringing the unity we need.

I feel bad, general, that you felt this need to try and put down my "religion". That is too bad.

Ironically, it is your kind of thinking, your kind of intolerance, that foments the kind of zeal we saw in yesterday's attack.

Time to process? Hard to say. No one here can wrap their mind around what happened. I have a clear view of the forever altered skyline from my window at home. Our building was evacuated and then shut down on Thursday due to a bomb scare at grand central station.

Being in this area now gives me the creeps. Is it biological/chemical next? Shudder to think.

I am deeply saddened, full of sorrow, and simultaneously unable to feel.

Your free and non~ignorant perspective was a breath of fresh air to read. How wonderful of you to provide it here . I'm sorry to see how much flack you took for it but it warms my heart to know that there are still souls out there wanting to share their light~* with those in the dark! There are, and probably always will be ignorant people like the ones that posted back to you mean spiritedly but there's not much those of us who don't where blinders can do about it directly can we? :-) I know your wonderful post didn't seem to find a "home" here but just as I came across it (I too am an Astrologer btw) others will find it as well! In May of last year I tried to do a similar thing at this board. I posted back to someone with a question about Astrology and the Catholic religion. I answered factually and ~Spiritually~. Was my response (which was of course in favor of the wonderful Awarness that Astrology provides) received with open arms? Nooooo of course it wasn't....but that's o.k. I didn't think it would be "accepted". I was told that I would be "prayed" for. LOL What the "pray~ers" didn't realize is that I was praying as well! I was praying that one day they would learn the difference between Spirituality and Religion. I was praying that one day they would learn to live from the heart. I was praying that one day they would take all of the "rules" and "regulations" they've learned and use them as a way to CONNECT with others instead of DISCONNECT.

As it has been said: "There are none so blind as those who WILL NOT see."

As it has also been said: "A candle burns brightest in dark room." DOES IT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't post back when I saw the sad replies to my post. I didn't have to. For those with a closed mind and a closed heart reparte is about protecting their "position". Awareness, to them, is perceived as an "attack". I on the other hand don't need to debate anything. :-) Truth stands straight and tall and all on it's own. And regardless of what they replied to me....

MY POST was still on record *BWG*....and as I said to you about yours here....even if ONE soul passing by sees it and has their eyes and mind and heart open to it's message....
