Sounds about as close as some of the Revelations stuff to me, who knows?

Carl, thanks for the post and the follow-up. I just received that same basic story from Bill Murphy at GATA, and he sent it around without doing the debunk/urban-legend check. I directed him to that site you linked. I never seem to be prepared for these deceptions.

I have received two variations of that.

2001 is the first year of the new century and this is the 9th month. New York is located at the 41st degree Latitude.
