Our corporate engineer sent me this list of of stations that were using the World Trade Center building(s) as antenna sites.

WCBS-TV Channel 2
WNBC-TV Channel 4
WNYW-TV Channel 5
WABC-TV Channel 7
WPIX-TV Channel 11
WNET-TV Channel 13
WPXN-TV Channel 31
WNJU-TV Channel 47
W60AT-TV Channel 60
WKCR-FM 89.9
WNYC-FM 93.9

NONE of the above have licensed backup transmitter facilities. I can only hope that maybe they have old sites somewhere that can be restored to operation soon.

These three (only three!) facilities do have alternate transmitter sites:

WPAT-FM 93.1
WQCD-FM 101.9 (WTC was their *backup* site, not their primary)
WKTU-FM 103.5

Any of you folks live up there, do you know if any of the stations in the first list are back on the air yet?
