Peanut Butter Pie

Like to have a recipe for creamy peanut butter pie, just like the kind served in the resturants in Amish country.

Thanks

I have 2 recipes, if this is not the one.. let me know. I will post the other. The other has a meringue.

Peanut Butter Dream Pie 1 (3 oz.) pkg cream cheese 1 c. confectioners sugar 1/3 c. peanut butter 1 pkg whipped topping mix 1 (8 in) graham cracker crust, baked and cooled 1/4 c. finely chopped peanuts (dry roasted) Whip cheese until soft and fluffy. Beat in sugar and peanut butter. Prepare whipped topping as directed on package. Fold topping into peanut butter mixture. Pour into baked pie shell. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Chill until firm. You may use regular pie crust rather than graham cracker crust if you so desire.

Enjoy!

Here's a really easy one: 1c. peanut butter (I like the crunchy kind), 1c. powdered sugar, 1 8oz pkg of cream cheese, and 1 8oz bowl of whipped topping. Mix it all up and pour it into any kind of pie shell you want. That's it, no cooking or anything. It is pretty tasty with one of the chocolate cookie crusts. You can even use store bought if you need it quick.

You can make any kind of crust you prefer, either graham cracker, or regular pie crust, baked. Then either spread PB thickly over the crust, or mix it into the filling. Use for a filling any type of vanilla-type of pie filling, either cooked or instant pudding, or a cool-whip type. Or do like I do, and make a thick cooked vanilla pudding (from scratch, of course), stir in 1/2 cup PB, and fold a little whipped cream into it. Put into pie shell, and top with more sweetened whipped cream. (This is a terrorist attack on your waistline.)
