what if one party was responsible for this in the hopes we would go after another party as being responsible and eliminate them. what then?

I can't shake that thought, that we are being set up to retaliate against a perceived enemy when it was another framing them, perhaps even by a friend of ours?

I figure we have seen all the rambunctious airplanes, that the next wave will be quite different.

As far as going after the wrong folks, someone on the news was just clicking off all the major attacks (Beirut, Saudia Arabia, elsewhere) that we never really did anything that stuck. I think it is likely to end up that way on this one also.

Of course, we could be in open warfare by next week, so the instigators of these particular attacks might not matter so much.
