I have heard an estimate of 25,000 in the WTC(not necessarily killed), and of course anyone downwind of all that debris. 10,000 sounds like a cheap date to me.

Saw an interview with some WTC manager.. Said normal would be 10,000 workers in each tower... and about 5000 people would visit the WTC throughout a normal day..

Sure hope a lot were late for work today..
