Greetings from Redondo Beach!

Today is my day off, and I finally got an internet connection.

After an initially slow start, things have been going better, and I cooked a flight home in a few days.

I'm still not used to the time change (3 hours) and was lying down in my motel room when the 4.2 quake hit yesterday. I thought that it was just a huge truck going by on the freeway, and it wasn't until the quake was over that I realized that we'd just had an earthquake. I'll be glad to get home!

One other bit of trivia: I keep seeing signs on the freeways: electric charging station ahead. Cool! That's certainly a sign of the future.

Knowing the problems in California it would all depend on which way the electric charge is going. This could be more of a sign of the present. ;-)
