Very briefly, Watson thought psychology to be the study of behavior, whereas Wundt thought it to be the study of consciousness. I don't know that there are easy def'n of psychology for Freud (who developed psychoanalysis) or Gestalt (who were interested in the dynamics of psychological "wholes" rather than just hte numeration psychological "parts"). George Miller (assuming that's who you mean) adopted William James' def'n of psychology : "The study of mental life." These are are impossibly brief. You should really have a look at a basic history of psychology text to put some flesh on these bones.

Hi Simone, I've got bad news for you, I think your question is an example of one of those situations where each person must rely on their own invention which is not to say that an expert in the field wouldn't be able to tell the difference between someone who didn't know what they were talking about from someone who did. Let me recommend the APA's new Encyclopedia of Psychology. There you will find your target topics side by side as it were, and you can compare and contrast. Good luck, David
