Offense Anybody?

Where has the high-flying offense gone? The Carolina Panthers came into the Metrodome and pulled the improbable by beating the Vikes 24-13.

The Vikings got off to a horrible start when the opening kick off was returned 93 yards for a touchdown. The Vikes never seemed to get into a groove and the Panthers played their butts off.

Moss caught one ball, Anderson missed a field goal and had an extra point blocked, Culpepper was intercepted three times and one of those was on a ball he threw long to moss that was under thrown by five yards. That was the entire game one huge mistake after another. I can't even believe the outcome of this game still.

The Vikes are supposed to be one of the favorites to win the division and challenge for the Super Bowl, but they can't beat a team that has a rookie quarterback, a rookie running back and a rookie return man not to mention a defense full of young kids that were supposed to be unable to stop the Moss and Carter show. Well they did stop it and made the Vikings look silly all game.

Green has to figure out what happened and turn this around right now. What happened between the last week of preseason and today is what I would like to know. We needed this win because the road only gets tougher ahead. Come on Vikes lets see some football!

I agree this was a must win especially because of the schedule but I think you will se a differnt team mon night. Ravens offense is'nt exactly high flying so our 'D'should be alright. The offense will get it together. We will be in this game and have a chance to win. GO VIKES!!!
