-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
This sucks! I'm going to have to put up with Ian Dowie's summarising on Sky Sports now. Earlier he previewed the match saying Shearer would start up front with Cort and that the opposition, "Sunderland" would be in for a hard match today!

-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
What's all this about Bellamy and Acuna? The webcasts breaking up so I couldn't hear what happened. Now I am getting repeats of the penalty through the webcast......
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
I've got all the softwear, just no hardwear. I could have plugged my headphones into the pc, had I remembered to bring them to the university with me. Still 1-1?

-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
How can this webcast business be so hard for one club to organise when everyone else seems to be able to manage to do it? By the way it sounds like Robert was the creator of this goal too - so all 3 we've scored this season have been down to him.
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO - GIVEN SAVES THE PEN!!!!!!(:O))))))00
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001

West Brom are a goal up at home to Man City, and St Albans are leading by a goal away to Sutton. Not that anyone other than myself cares....
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
I've just tried Metro's own site to see what was on. I talked to the people who run it a couple of weeks ago and they said they shut it down during matches because of copyright reasons, but I'm listening now, and what I can hear is very very faint, and mixed up with an other webcast (like interference on the radio), but at least it doesn't cut out. If you're desperate, you can try it. Go to
http://www.metroradio.co.uk/nav?action=home&id=1000 then click "Listen live". Mind, you have to be desperate as it is VERY QUIET and VERY MIXED UP.
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
Nah Barry not that desperate , I will continue to hover on here, peruse the ladies golf from Gleneagles , listnen to 5 live , whistle Dixie and get paid for it, such is life

-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
Somebody is confusing Robert and Shearer! It was Robert who set up Dabz and scored himself - 1-3.
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
According to my webcast, Robert has just scored to make it 3-1. This is ridiculous. I'm obviously in a kind of toon timewarp.

Goodnight allThanks for the updates.
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
4-1 Our final answer. That makes for a better week ahead. Mind you - the first half was shaky, and we only really won against 10. BUT its not always easy to beat 10.
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
Well a damned good win.Don,t know what you were worried about Gav!
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
Robert definitely MOTM. Won a pen, set up 2 goals and scored one!
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
I take it the final score was 4-1 then?
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
Up to 7th, one place behind Sunderland but we have a game in hand. Terrific result today. The preformances of Robert will not go unnoticed by Premiership managers and they will have to find ways of stopping him. This injection of pace and balance to our left side will inevitably open up the opposition in the way we were calling for last season. Lets get Solano and the centre of midfield sorted out and the defence and we're cooking.
Christ we've got a lot of improving to do!!
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
So Robert has created or scored every single one of our 6 goals in the league! We're 7th, Sunderland 6th, and if we won our game in hand (against Man Utd !!), we'd be 2nd. Looking good with Shearer and Robert. Can't wait to read Robert's interview on his website next week.
-- Anonymous, September 08, 2001
Perfect reception on web cast now!!!!!!

I'll join ya with a new superstition Ciara, I leave when we're 1-0 down and playing badly and then we come back from the dead with 4 :))
