Meet the FRL?greenspun.com : LUSENET : FRL friends : One Thread |
We're planning a trip in early Feb. to Florida. I want to see Disney World and Cape Canaveral and I would *love* to meet any FRLians that can make it there, too! Any takers?

My e addy's real if you want to talk about this "privately".

I can't imagine why you would want to leave the frozen north for a trip to Florida where all those sharks are eating the tourists! Especially during February!! But if you must, have a wonderful trip.Be sure to visit Sea World while you are down there. And DON'T be taken in by that Mickey Mouse dude - he is an impostor!

Tricia: I've been seriously thinking about a family trip there early next year, so meeting up is a possibility. When (or even if) we go depends on several things. Should know by early december. Hopefully we'll be able to go. It would be great meeting you!

(Raising hand and waving) Me! Me! Me! :-)Gene, I happen to like Mickey Mouse! He's the only mouse that doesn't make me scream and jump up on a chair. ;-)

Trust me, Gayla,That one's an impostor. I'm sure he's cross-dressing to get the job.
-- gene (ekbaker@essex1.com), September 08, 2001.
Gene, I'm sure you're right. But it's really okay, Gayla isn't threatened by cross-dressers, just mice :-DWell, I do believe it's gonna be a go. Anyone else who wants to tag along, just let me know.
.
Death to winter blues!
Warm days, Frlian friends, too
I can hardly wait!

Okay - Okay. Are you going to invite me to launch?

Launch? As in "hurl"? Eeeewwww!!!
-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), September 12, 2001.
Hurling? Watch it ... You're the one who brought up throwing dressers across the aisle....or cross-dressing the aisle....or decking the halls with boughs of holly ... or something.I merely thought we'd join down at the cape to eat launch.
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), September 12, 2001.
Robert, all FRLians are invited! (Although I don't think I want to eat a hurled launch!!!)We have not yet bought our tickets, and in light of yesterday's attack, depending on the financial picture, we may have to postpone for a year. I really don't want to do that, but... I'll post when we decide for sure (again).
-- Tricia the Canuck (jayles@telusplanet.net), September 12, 2001.
Um,I think you wouldn't want to hurl an eated lunch. Socially unacceptable, you know.
I don't suppose you would be coming through Northern IL on the way down to Mickeyland. (He's a fake, you know). If so, maybe we could connect some way. Hurl something or other. (chunks?)
-- gene (ekbaker@essex1.com), September 13, 2001.
Ewww, Gene. No thanks to the hurling of chunks, either ;-)We'll be flying, if we still go... it's a bit far to make the trip in a week to 10 days if we drive. Maybe we'll make it that far some future trip though, I can hope!

Dang, I love to go to Florida! Especially come February, when the frosty weather has gotten old! Perhaps enroute to a Carribean adventure!! Sounds like tons of fun!!! Count me in!! Travel? YES :)))))
