For all the fantasy people out there .... will the England players underperform for their sides this weekend. If the concern was that teh Albania performance was flatter compared to the German one then what depressed state will Owen etc be in this weekend when they have to play boring boring Villa ?

I have to say I was impressed by the energy and committment of the England players on Wednesday. The fitness levels of players like Scholes and Beckham in particular was really impressive.

The game was fast, but also VERY physical, and the England players looked very weary to me towards the end.

I'd be surprised if many of them we really up to the rigours of a PL game on Saturday - and I now have a feeling for just how much 10 years of regular international footy must have taken out of AS.
