... or is it that the score is always 0-2?

Starting on Saturday!

O2 with a superscript 2 is a product name for a silicone graphics machine will there not be a copywrite on that.
Will it still be named after Durham crickets ground though.. - riverside

No sympathy with the greedy gets. Sling the sponsors name across your beloved stadium if you have to, throwing away a hundred years of history. End up with slightly better facilities due to the sponsors money, if you need to.

But don't act all surprised when it turns out to be a two-edged sword and you end up with the most embarrasing stadium name in football. That's why principles are tough sometimes, but worth having.

weren't boro formed in 1984?

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

Kenny - wouldn't one be the chemical symbol for oxygen, the other referring to O squared so no problem? That is, one has the 2 superscripted and one subscripted

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

yep ... O(subscript 2) for oxygen. A rare gas in 'boro!

But your more likely to find CH4 in boro???

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

I had to do a search on Google to find out what CH4 is. Am I the only thicky that didn't take chemistry at school?

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

Yes, you aren't, Nick.

English was a bit of a struggle as well. :-)

Bad at chemistry AND english? Lucky we're good at maths or the three of us would be in a right mess

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

Another thickie here. I wanted to take it, but wasn't allowed to. They said it was because my math scores were only average, but I think they were just afraid of letting me near the lab 'cause I was only interested in mixing things together to see what happened, without bothering with all that math malarkey.

Instead, I was turned loose in biology labs with a scalpel and dead critters. bwahahahaha. >:-)

I took Latin,T D,Woodwork and Physics which are all very useful in my new project.

I'm helping my son to construct a the time machine .

..... should be ready by Xmas 38 BC.

Ughhh I had to opt out of biology , the thought of cutting an eyeball or rat makes me vomit. I can put together some ammonium Iodide though - more unstable than Nitro glycerine..

Maybe if I put some on Bartons Boots he'll pick up a bit..

RIK "I'm helping my son to construct a the time machine"
That'd be a watch then ?

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

Eyeballs were particularly fascinating to me for some reason. Ran through the room terrifying the annoying (and very squeamish!) cheerleader-types with a vitreous humor(sp?) speared onto the end of my dissecting needle thingy. A bit of class geek's revenge. :-)

No don't be daft, a watch couldn't be used as a time machine.

It started out as a tree house on stills, but we are now installing a reverse electro magnetic propulsion system powered by nuclior fusion and polypropale zidor genoratorss, that should in theory propel us back in time , Or even more exciting to a paralell universe.

A parrallell univers, Just Image , NUFC winning Barton being good. BUT wed all be mackems ***^%%^^$^%

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

LOL! That sounds like a Rik special, Kennyboy. ;-)

Rik,
Don't forget to get a good supply of dilithium crystals from Scotty.

Ref. the Riverside Stadium , ie. Flatpak MkII, as Geordie indicated, why not call it the "NO-O2" Stadium.

-- Anonymous, September 06, 2001

Actually, they've been calling it the Oh Sh!t Stadium since the beginning of the season. I hope it continues to be so after Saturday.
