Now it gets interesting.
What's best for NUFC is Nobby doesn't play for Peru again this WC and Bobby picks him for us.
The club comes first, let bygones be bygones, today is the first day of the rest of your life, no use crying over spilled milk, united we stand, don't look back in anger! etc.
I happen to think Solano right and Robert left as the basis of our midfield will be too good for most.

Time will tell, but imo this merely ups the stakes. If Peru are now completely out of the WC, and Nobs still inists on travelling to play for them, then I think there is only one outcome. That would be too much for BR to take - with some justification, imo.

Nob says he will play until qualifying isn't a reality, mathematically impossible. It is now, to coin a phrase.

If Colombia fail to get anything out of the game with the world footballing force that is Ecuador, then Peru may still qualify if Brazil lose all of their games.

Hopefully it should be 3 years of Nob without him flying off (to Peru)
