Dave, It may still be worth trying "www.ticketmaster.co.uk", although it's likely that any remaining tickets will be £42 ones (plus the ubiquitous booking fee, of course).

It's now sold out.

Keep checking ticketbastard in the morning. And also the box office, but go in person. It's not unusual for tickets to be released day of. Often they're only singles, so don't plan on trying to get 2 or more together.

The tickets come from credit card rejections on prior sales, and vip tickets not taken up, all of which are released back into the pool. It's never a guaranteed thing, but I've gotten tickets to alot of sold out events that way.

Bit of a choker when there were empty seats

There were actually quite a few empty seats Dave. The crowd was announced as 51,000 plus, but I have my doubts. Actually, I'd be surprised if there were more than 50,000 there. Given the ticket collection choas today, there may have been a lot of 'no shows'.

There were loads of empty seats, what happened ?

If I'd paid £42 for a ticket, i'd have been queing up with the rest of them.
