CONDIT A HALLOWEEN STAR

THE beady eyes, bad coif and grim maw of Gary Condit could be staring up from thousands of little bodies soon. Milwaukee novelty company buycostumes.com is polling consumers to see if they'd wear a mask of the disgraced California congressman this Halloween. So far, nearly 36 percent of those surveyed say they'd love to horrify their friends and neighbors that way. If there's enough demand for them to produce the masks, buycostumes.com says it will donate a portion of the profits to the Chandra Levy reward fund. "We've been receiving a deluge of calls," a company rep tells PAGE SIX. Meanwhile, Woody Allen fans see similarities between some theories about what happened to Levy and Allen's 1989 flick "Crimes and Misdemeanors." Martin Landau plays an eye doctor who's having an affair with a flight attendant played by Anjelica Huston. When she threatens to reveal their secret, he hires his brother Jerry Orbach to bump her off - and gets away with it.

I hope they plan to offer a "rubber suit" as an accessory for those revelers who are truly serious about their costumes.
