Do any one knows why i can not open an AVI file in TMPGecoder which is the file I had exported from Pinnacle DV500 ( I had used export type "pinnacle AVI" )

Answers

Maybe you didn't install the VFAPI so that TMPGenc recognizes all valid audio/video codecs in your system. Or maybe you moved that AVI file into another PC which doesn't have that codec at all (especially true of h/w codecs).
