Prayer request (kind of an emergency)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Freedom! self reliance : One Thread

I don't know many of the details, but apparently one of my sisters, "C", hopped a plane to Arizona yesterday, to "visit" our youngest sister. It seems that over the course of the last few weeks, "C" has been having a breakdown, or something? Now she is thousands of miles from home, in crisis, and younger sis is terrified. This is serious. Please pray for my sisters. Thanks.

Will do! That's a tough situation and I know it's tough on you too to be so far away. Will be praying for all of you. We have to go through the valleys to get to the mountaintops, as my old preacher used to say.

You got it!...and for you and the rest of your family too.

Cathy, I know that this type of thing can be very frightening and stressfull, especially if you haven't delt with it personally before. Been there myself... my wife and my sister are manic-depresive. Will spend time on my knees for you and your family. If you need to talk about it, I'll be glad to lend an ear.

I've been through this with a close family memeber too, Cathy. Is she is crisis intervention? The other sis needs to get her in ASAP. Your family is my prayers.

Update on "C". Little Sis got her to a hospital yesterday, spent the entire day there, only to have the psych doc tell them he wasn't going to prescribe anything, as he wouldn't be the attending dr. Little Sis flipped out, and agreed to keep "C" for 6 months, so this dr would take her on as a patient. Diagnosis-psychosis. Those poor girls. Thanks to you all for keeping us in your prayers, it helps a lot. Thank you.
