There is a VERY fascinating college I had never heard of near Dyer, Nevada. The concept is wonderful,and might be duplicatable in other parts of the country. It is Deep Springs College, at www.deepsprings.edu I've also heard about a new home-school based college being built from ground up somewhere in the mid-west(Missouri or Arkansas,I think)...a college specifically for higher education of kids who come from home-schooled backgrouds...It is called either John Adams,John Hancock...John something anyway. You're thinking of Patrick Henry College in Virginia. Go to Home School Legal Defense Association's website for more information. I was just reading a Washington Times article about a boy who got perfect SAT scores and was deluged with offers from the Ivy League schools, but chose Patrick Henry and got a full scholarship. Go homeschoolers!
