Can anyone tell me how many shots an EOS 500N will take a second. I Lost my manual and also is there a setting to use this on?

Stephie,

The maximum film advance speed on the EOS 500N is 1 fps.

The following statement is meant as an educational pointer, not a slap in the face: You could have found camera & lens specification information by visiting the camera manufacturer website directly. I live in the USA, where the 500N is not marketed, so I found the information for you at Canon Australia.

I am always happy to help -- even with simple fetching of specs. :-)

Now here is my question to you...why do you need to know? ;-)

Im wanting to take photos of fast things and get lots of shots in a small time. It was also an argument i was having with a friend and i thought it was 3 every sec and he thought it was 2. Im am convinced that it is more as i thought when i bought my camera that it said 3 per sec as i was chuffed at the thought of using this programme. Hmmm. Much appreciated though. Cheers ;-)

Stephie,

It is possible that your camera drive is slightly faster than claimed. Manufacturers don't always exagerate! :-)
