FRL Princess
Rob Michaels gave her that name.
I think she's one too!

Laughing and hugging
We could have talked forever
Goodbyes came too soon!

Dear and Loyal One,

with our Investigatress,

wish I were there too!

Oh, fer cryin' out loud, Gayla! PUHLEEZ tell me you didn't kiss her hand, or curtsie, or grovel or any such thing? I'm plannin' on going up there next summer, and I hope you didn't set any standards for me to live up to.

I'm getting nervous already. Does she touch the ground when she walks? Is there an aura of soft golden light surrounding her head? Does her voice sound like a chorus of Angels? Does she chew with her mouth closed???????

I just know I'll do something dumb, and then the whole uncivilized fruitcake world will think us bayou folks ain't got no culture a-tall.

A real live person!!

Gayla is gorgeous and kind

So sad to say 'bye :-(

.

Mountain beauty glows

Blue sky, green trees turning gold

Fall comes early here.

.

We missed our friends here

We wanted everyone there

Maybe next summer?!

.

Wha'd'ya say, Oh great and Fearless Leader?

Or maybe a visit to Disney World in February?

A FRLian get together oughta be a blast... I certainly enjoyed meeting Gayla!

Lon, can I hold you to that next summer thing??? I'm almost afraid to hope. Oh, and yes, ofcourse I have a halo, wings and a voice like angels... I even chew with my mouth closed, when I'm not talking too much ;-)

LOL Tricia! Did we actually eat? I remember the coffee, but only vaguely remember the food. I think I was too busy talking! :-)

-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), September 08, 2001.

LOL, Gayla.... I think we must have eaten, I didn't get hungry again until mid-afternoon :-D

Wanna do a repeat in Florida?? Wanna see if we can drag Unc out too? :-)

-- Tricia the Canuck (jayles@telusplanet.net), September 09, 2001.

Florida!

I'm game .... got 286 vacation hours built up that I haven't been able to use yet this year.....and FL is only a few hours south of here.

Canadian friends...
I'm glad we came when we did.
Things look so bleak now. :-(

Anybody heard from Lon?

-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), September 17, 2001.

Right on the nail, as usual, Gayla. War, however 'good' the cause, is always bleak. And I wonder who's tune we're dancing to.

Lon's still away, I guess. I thought he might cut short his trip, but it looks like not.

WHERE was Lon going?? Barge accident in south Texas...LON CHECK IN PLEASE.

-- helen (not@this.too), September 17, 2001.

Yeah ... I heard about that barge accident. It dropped a section of the highway into the water. Several people still missing down there.

Hi all.

We made it back safely last week and leave again in about 10 minutes. I haven't had the heart to write much, but I just posted a new thread. Please be safe until we return, and maybe we can chat again.

Lon and Kit

Well good.

I was worried Lon Frankenstein might have dented the boat when he hit the bridge.

LOL, Robert! I needed that, thanks. (For any who are offended at laughing at our black humour... it's a neccessity for surviving horror, ask at any Emerg/ER)

(((Lon))), I'm so relieved to hear you were back safe. Are your clouds still too black to be indoors?
