Turns out it's referring to Notts County and some unknown called Danny Stone.

I though Feed One was supposed to filter-out non-Newcastle stuff?

Notts County, also nicknamed the "Magpies". Newsnow picks up anything related to Newcastle, also picks up "Magpies", "St. James Park" and anything else related to Newcastle United, ie players names etc etc. It is a heck of a lot better than it used to be, but not perfect yet.

The newsnow link on my old site still uses the user (me) defined search, so I can add or remove keywords in the URL, but it would still pick up "magpie" links as that's a keyword.

You can add your own search words, delete others, just by editing the url, and then saving it as one of your own favourites, so you can delete Magpies. It's easy, even I managed it - I worked out how to do it by just copying other entries in the URL
