Away to WestHam - Anyone got a spare ticket?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Yes, I know I'm a cheeky git, but is anyone going to the WestHam match who has a spare?
I'm only back in the UK for 2 weeks and this is the only game I can get to in this time.
I'm sure it would go a long way to bringing together the Sydney and UK cliques.

I'm applying for 2 today and only need 1, so if they come through then you've got first dibs on the spare....ok?

Gav - can I have sloppy seconds?

-- Anonymous, August 31, 2001

Yup you can...if Nick don't get back to me then it's yours...if I get them :))

Thank you Gav. Very much appreciated. I'll send you an e-mail.

Had on there a second Nick. Who said we wanted to bring the Sydney & London cliques closer together? We sent them Min a few months back and look what they did to him ...

;O))

Don't worry Loony, I won't bring Min back with me.
Gav - I'd love to nab one of them tickets. The lads have all been singing your praises over here. I arrive in London on the morning of the 23rd. Had on, I'll send you an email...

The funny part is he thinks we will let him back in!!

Never fear Nick, you´ll manage to escape the grasp of bent customs officials when you get back to Sydney airport (he is grasping that Gus isn´t he??). Best of luck with tix for Wham. And for not getting your heed staved in...

-- Anonymous, September 03, 2001

Don't be silly...if he's with me then he's not gonna get his heed staved in.....safe as you like being with me....never any bother to anyone.....

Not implying a thing Gav ;O)) BTW try not to get him so pissed he doesn´t remember the match eh - only a wee lad is our Nick and a couple of schooners usually has him heading for the cab rank...

Dear god is he related to Bobby? ;))

-- Anonymous, September 03, 2001

Dunno - haven´t yet had the pleasure of meeting the Bobster. Though there´s this rumour that he´s distantly related to Min. Without the penchant for Chinese fodder though ...

I´d best get away and warn Nick he´s being slandered on here!

Right that's it. I'm no longer in the Sydney clique. This is due to me now sitting in Auckland writing this email. I'm not related to Min either - that was Don Hucthison.

-- Anonymous, September 04, 2001

I for one think Nick will be perfectly safe with Gav. I would trust Gav with Mrs gus.

-- Anonymous, September 04, 2001

Why thank you for that vote of confidence Gus! when can I have her?

-- Anonymous, September 04, 2001

Next time we visit home I am sure we will meet up!

Of course the only reason I trust you with her is that I trust her implicitly.

Its a lot better than it used to be in Seattle I can tell you. I actually got a tin of Coleman's mustard on Saturday. The Branston is, I admit, a big miss. And, I have to admit, to a secret fetish for Camp coffee, which can't be got in the US.

Guess who's flight I was on from Sydney to Auckland...

Only the All Blacks. Got me picture taken with Big Lomu. Nice bloke too.

You just have to know where to look sting. Bought a bottle of Branston on Satda mesell. As for the other things find a "COLES" and go to the "International Foods" aisle.
