Halifax chairman Bob Walker is expected to confirm manager Paul Bracewell has left the club.

A press conference will be held at 11am at the club's training ground in Huddersfield following speculation that the former England international, who joined the club in October last year when they were bottom of the Third Division, quit after Monday's 2-0 home defeat against Oxford.

Halifax secured their Football League status, finishing just two points above relegated Barnet, but they have made a bad start to the new season taking just four points from four games.

Midfielder Neil Redfearn is expected to be named as caretaker-manager for Saturday's trip to York.
