With all the talk of people planning to desert the BBS (or threats to) I was looking at other Newcastle boards that seemed well populated.

It really made me realise that this place is easily the best out there.

Some of the other boards are full of fickle glory hunters - Bobby Robson out after we lose a game, here we come Champions League after we win a game. The down to earth nature of this place is something that shouldn't be taken for granted.

I've never been on RTG before, but from the sounds of it, it doesn't compare with here.

If you want a flavour of RTG without actually going there (not recommended), try the Talk Of The Tyne bbs, part of the 'rivals.net' set-up. Not pretty!
