With this place being out of action I was scrounging around the alternatives last night. I had assumed that ITK & Scratchy's site, "The Daily Toon" would be dormant following Ken's tragic death. But no, to his great credit Scratchy has kept it going.

On going onto the Daily Toon bbs I was deeply touched to find a couple of posts, one from Bill Dixon, Kens' brother, and one from his daughter, Abbey, celebrating the start of the new season.

I felt it was entirely appropriate to reproduce what are deeply touching posts on here. I also posted a message indicating that we would welcome both of them on here with open arms - and asking them to e-mail me for the url/password if they are interested. I know I speak for everyone - well almost everyone (!) - in saying it would be wonderful to hear from Ken's loved ones now and then.

It's three months since Ken Dixon (ITK) passed on to a higher division, but on this, the first weekend of a new season, I would like all DailyToon subscribers to know that his spirit lives on. We WILL win the Itertoto Cup, the EUFA CUp, the Premier Division, the FA Cup, the League Whateveritscalled Cup and the Champions League. Not necessarily this season or in that order -- but we WILL win them!!! I know, like me, he always looked at the start of a new season with renewed vigour and anticipation of the Toon winning EVERYTHING. This could be that season. Keep the faith.
