I bought a canon eos some days ago and instead of sent to me an eos rebel 2000 I received an eos 300. I started to read the manual and I have not found differences between two models (or is the same one).

Is there any strong difference between two models?

Mauricio, the EOS 300 is the same as the Rebel 2000. EOS 300 is the intrnational denomination, while the same camera is sold in the US under the name Rebel 2000. AFAIK these bodies are exactly the same, except for the name.
