TREES - In Durham

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Current News : One Thread

Hope this works. It's the downtown stretch of the freeway as seen from the new home of the Durham Bulls.

Hmm. If not, the URL is here

Some rush hour! Humph. Not only that, look at those full-sized trees! I'll try to get some pix up soon. I'm still working on my scanner.

Yup, the tie-ups are on I-40. Sweetie is very lucky not to have to take 40 any more. This is where he used to exit:

I'll try to remember to refresh those URLs in the morning so you can get a better idea.

I'm saying "humph" because that part of rush hour isn't bumper to bumper, like on I-71 into downtown here. There are a lot of cars, but it looks almost civilized.

Wow! A different view everytime I've logged in. Looks like y'all are having a nice day there. It's overcast and a little on the muggy side, here, but not too wretched.

And here's 15-501, between Durham and Chapel Hill. Not as pretty as the freeway or I-40 because of strip shopping centers. It's also pretty muggy out that way this morning. Rain on the way! (I believe the camera is on top of the one and only high-rise out there, affectionately referred to as "the green weenie," hence the low cloud effect.)
