What's the Guardian's beef with us?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Here's the headline from footballunlimited? Kevin Phillips opened the scoring but Craig Bellamy managed to scrape a draw for profligate Newcastle.

Yer what now? Exactly who scraped the draw?

For some reason the accompanying picture is of one of the little people from The Wizard of Oz.

On no account click on the link to read Michael Walker's match report itself. I would call it a "travesty" but that would suggest something far too proficient.

God don't start me off about the Guardian, the Mail is usually as bad but gave us a decent review today for once.

Ignore all crap jounos. George Caulkin is OK in the Times though, he's a NUFC supporter though.

I would hate to have to rely on newspapers to find out how a match went. There's nothing quite like being there.

Even the tape of Sky when I got back home didn't quite sound anything like being there. At all.
