2002 Viking Field trip- Start saving your money kiddies

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Purple : One Thread

I am taking on the ungodly task of trying to organize a group outing to a Vikings game next season.

So far I have recieved limited feedback, and I know it's early but with something like this I figure the earlier the better, but the winner seems to be the Vikings at New York Jets.

So far I have recieved word back of interest from Tom (Redviking), Brendan (BMurphy778), Deb (Debcross2000), Shannon (PE13SR), Ralph (Rfelix7550), Kevan (Abbasid), Mike (Wurger) and Bruce (Sixxking). I don't think I missed anyone, but I don't have my list in front of me.

I know we won't have a date until sometime this Winter, but I figure getting an early start on socking away a couple of bucks each check now will make things easier when the date nears. I want to see the whole gang represented, so everyone let's make this thing a success. NO EXCUSES ACCEPTED! I live near San Diego, CA so you can not get further from New York then I am unless you live in freaking Mongolia.

Ralph has already volunteered to buy everyone a beer and Kevan will be springing for the LSD, so I think we have everything covered.

Let me know if you are coming and I will start to build a mailing list so that I can keep everyone in the loop with times, prices, meeting places, ticket info, etc.

They put out the opponents for the next 9 seasons, some new scheduling formula, the only thing we don't know are the dates and two revolving non NFC, conference opponents.
