Fergie loses the plot

After tossing his toys out of the pram selling Stam he comes out with this after today's match. As quoted on Sporting Life. Oh my.

"Can someone with a stopwatch record the time of these games? People are getting robbed of their entertainment out there," he declared amid a splattering of swearwords.

"Four minutes? It's a bloody joke. Tell people where the game has gone wrong. Why has the referee got a stopwatch?

"How long should injury-time have been? Fourteen minutes at least.

"There were four injuries at least and there were four substitutions as well. Every time Peter Schmeichel took a free-kick, it took him a minute to get the ball."

Not content with that, he told Sky Sports: "We should have had another 20 minutes' play. We have full-time refs and then you have a performance like that."

He has a point here. There must have been 6 to 7 mins worth of injury time in total...easy!

LR Just curious...how long has it been since you were at a game with 7 minutes of injury time? -phoenix

I feel Schmeicel wasting time at goal kicks does have a certain irony in it.

Today. Six mins easy. Four was a piss take.

Rudolph was feckin' MASSIVE today. It was well feckin' strange watching him pull off three or so huge saves. Brilliant. Bastard!

You see, that's the problem with PPV. They have a schedule to keep to and Taggart lost out (heh heh). I'd have a word with Old Rupert Babes if I was Taggart. Surely he can pull a few strings next time to change the schedules.

LR, selling Stam (IMHO) principally (and on principle) for his outspoken words in his book, does not bode well for the team which "won't lose a game this season". I don't see whoever you buy (Laurent Blanc?) being able to shore up 'that' defence, certainly not in the short term.

The bubble is about to (finally) burst?

Has it occured to whoever has control of the 1 manure brain stem that the ref might have used the stop watch for the injuries whatever and the extra time was just that?
