prosody and stilistic devices in Anabel Leegreenspun.com : LUSENET : The Work of Edgar Allan Poe : One Thread |
Does anybody have an analysis of Anabel Lee, esp. concerning prosody and stilistic devices? Something about death and sexuality would be interesting, too... Thanks!Mike

dear mike, after having read poe's annabel lee,i found it very emotive andfascinating, but, comlicated;its analysis would be pre-eminently difficult;however,it could be seen deferently by people, hence i will give you my point of view. i think that it's a fruit of a great grief and sorrow, after the death of his wife(knowing that his life was gloomy and sad,its detailed analysis is more comlicated than the explanations of a lot of critics. very espectfully.
