jonno marra, when have I said anything good about HIM, I think you're trying to stop me slagging him off on all the other related threads - ONCE AND FOR ALL, NO PLEASE, I DON'T WANT THAT USELESS PLAYER WITH THE SH!TTY ATTITUDE TO PLAY FOR MY FAVOURITE TEAM!!!!

He is NOT any good and we should not GET him!

I'm glad that's clear now then. :-)

I presume you realise I was joking. You've made it very clear all day in no uncertain terms!

Actually the whole thing is starting to look like a lot of fuss for nothing isn't it? But we could use a fit striker of some sort now that all ours have been decommissioned and put verifiably beyond use. :-(

I know mate, but thanks for affording me the opportunity to have another go at him! I'll admit I was gutted when KK first sold him but that was 5(?) years ago, he's aged, slowed down, developed attitude (thanks to AF) and why should we pick up his wage bill?

Nobody's addressed my statement about "ambition", "aspirations", blah, blah, blah???

Unless we can do a swap for your 'pal' Warren, Fergie's defence could do with some shoring up and a dose of THE clap! ;7)

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I eyewigged the back page of yesterday's Daily Mirror Greek edition while waiting to take off to come home.

Andy Cole to Newcastle ? Immediate reaction, yes please. (Heart). Considered reaction, oh no, not another manu reject. (Head).

I think we have other more pressing priorities.

Usually don't buy newspapers on holiday, but couldn't resist the temptation to read about our magnificently comprehensive entry into Europe proper. For a few minutes I couldn't take in the numbers I was reading for the final score.

Unbelievable, and you'd think I'd know better than to expect it to have been anything else.

From being slightly encouraged with the showing against chewsea, it turned into the same old same old.

Roll on Sunday.

Holiday was canny otherwise, but.

Regards for the regards Clarky.

That was the conclusion I tried valiantly not to come to, but the facts seemed to be too concrete to ignore.

Haven't the faintest notion what'll happen tomorrow, and won't even hazard a guess.

Interesting take on the Dyer situation was that our neighbour (a manure fan)in the hovel next door wasn't even aware of all the uproar about him and Leeds. Maybe we're all too close to situations like that, and the poxy media just milk it for all it's worth in the local editions of the various rags. The rest of the world are maybe not remotely interested in what's going on.

And, to be fair, he had no axe to grind when he asked me if Bobby was still in full possession of his marbles - seems to be the impression that's coming across that his age is having an effect.

The reports of the chewsea game seemed to give us next to no credit. I thought they looked okay, apart from Given's clanger. Maybe the overseas versions are all southern editions.

Gutted we can't make it to Screacher's at yairm, but only got back last night and don't have time to rearrange prior commitments. Better luck next time mebbe.
