Update: I saw moose! Yes, it's true. Last week while running around at Plains of Despair, I saw a youngish (yearling?) and quite dark, female moose also running around. I couldn't tell which course she was running and maybe she wasn't running a course at all, but was just stretching her legs for general moose purposes. This brings the number of moose sightings the Swampfox has made on the infamous Laramie maps to a grand total of two, which means it can be done. ("You can't do it unless the answer is two.")
