Well now I've got Bud's undivided attention I'll continue. :-)

In a remarkable story on Radio 5 here (you have to do a quick double take that it's not April 1), some California strippers have won the right to fondle themselves during their act. It seems that this was formerly considered lewd behaviour and was banned. Apparently at "The Angel Sports Bar" (Put your diaries down and listen for goodness sake!) eight policemen in plastic macs plain clothes had spotted these strippers touching themselves during their act (it's obviously a hard life in the force! - how many murders were committed in California the night these EIGHT policemen were performing this important public duty?) The bar was taken to court but in an appeal it seems the strippers can now touch themselves during their act.

All well and good. Now - this is California - how about equal rights for the punters? :-)

One can only speculate how hard it was for the judge to reach this landmark ruling. Or how many exhibits were called for in court. It's good to know that the pubic public interest has been well served.
