Abby, I've never read any of your postings but I have been following what has happened to you recently. I have to tell you that I have really felt for you. I just don't understand how people who say they are your friends can support Dennis and his 'punishment' of you. Banning you to the TIO sig for one week has got to be humiliating.

That board has been a large part of your life for awhile now. Your 'friends' know this. No one can tell me that they don't know how hurt you must be by all of this. Dennis pays it lip service but, IMHO, he gets off on being cruel. He seems devoid of humane feelings in his treatment of you.

He is a tyrant - pure and simple. Z is right, all one has to do is look and the cultish behaviors are right there to see. He talks as if all of us, posters at both WWW and TB2K, are possessions of either himself or Unk.

Abby, when Dennis decides that you can come back to the main board with the 'adults' I think you should ask yourself one very important question. Ask yourself what is left now that 'free speech' is gone? And make no mistake - Dennis has taught you your lesson well ... you can say what you want as long as what you say is ok with him. And remember what his biggest threat is ... permanant banning if you step out of line again.

Get real poeple. If someone threatened to sue this board and its owners for violation of copyright laws and liable and slander over something that was posted and the replies to the post, do you think it would be a smart move on their part to allow it to continue? Abby had the option to stop and to not make anymore out of it, which would have been the polite and proper thing to do, and she chose to do otherwise. Tough cookies. She has the option to start her own place or live with the rules. I hate, more than you know, having to say this as I am one who defended the people who where being given the bums rush at the old tb2k board for going against the sysops over another ban that didn't seem fair or reasonable. In that case noone was threatening the board, it was just politics as far as I could tell. Abby can come back anytime she chooses but she has limits like all the rest of us do and throwing what amounts to a tantrum for being told she can't post certian material is just not the thing to do. Nothing is barred from the forum as long as it meets the community standard(no porn or really bad language),doesn't attack persons(their message is fair game) and we arn't threatened with what would amount to homelessness over it. I think that isn't to much to ask. Debate the issues all day long. Post news so long as the source isn't against it. Chat about the weather. But keep it civil. Behave as if your mother, wife, daughter and grandmother are all watching. You can always come here to act otherwise.
