I found that Metro have an all-day web broadcast now, (started last week). It was on at 18.30 before the match but then I went out to watch the match so I didn't hear it during the match. Did it continue to work or does it get cut off because of NTL copyright reasons, etc when the game starts? (like the Radio 5 webcasts). Syme and Deb zebra, I saw that you used it too, so does it work right through? For those of you who weren't on the match thread, you can listen to it all day from now - the URL is

Thanks for the feedback Syme and Deb. I have since checked directly with the technical people at Metro, and they tell me that the web broadcast is supposed to be switched off once the "official NUFC" webcast of the game starts, because of copyright/ownership reasons. Maybe they left it on by mistake last night. They also told me that instead of the live commentary, they are allowed to put on non-live comments while the game is on, though I am not sure who would do it, and how it would sound. Maybe their newsroom would add some up- dates, a bit like the way TalkSport cover all the games when they don't have an actual commentary. It will be "interesting" to listen to how they handle their coverage of Fulham-SAFC tonight (for purely informational non-sport-related reasons of course).
