Funding for religious charities

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Lloyds TSB Foundation Scotland Public Forum : One Thread

I am the fundraiser for Dhanakosa Buddhist Retreat Centre in Balquhidder near Stirling. We are raising funds to parchase the property which we currently rent. It seems there is often a blanket no to any religious charities. Where does the Lloyds TSB foundation stand in relation to this.

Regrettably, fabric appeals for places of worship, other than where such buildings provide accommodation to community groups, fall outwith the selection criteria of the Board of Trustees.

More information on the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland's criteria can be found on the web site on the General Criteria, Priorities, Principles and Outwith Criteria pages.
