Newcastle agree Romagnoli fee Aug 21, 2001 ------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 20 year old could be in England next week for medical checks after the Argentine club's president Fernando Miele agreed the fee with the Premiership club.

Newcastle are keen to add to their midfield as Peru star Nolberto Solano is insisting that he continues to leave the club to play for Peru.

Newcastle are unhappy over Solano's international commitments and want to turn to young creator Romagnoli instead. he helped San Lorenzo to the Argentine clausura championship last season.

its a type of pasta, the loopy kind with squiggles. don't know much about its midfield prowess but a big bowl of it placed in the centre circle should be about as effective as gary speed
