(ot) Connect The Dots !!!!!!!!!!!! AbbyLane2001

I believe this is the second one today to get deleted. The other thread was an idea Abbey had on how she could keep posting and not get deleted.

Abby was spamming the board. I'm disappointed she would do that. Still, she being allowed to post on the Take It Outside portion of the forum.

There always seems to be some kind of High Drama going on at that other forum. They all seem to thrive on adversity and enjoy pick, pick, picking problems to death and acting not to resolve a situation but to create more controvery that exacerbates and perpetuates it. Maybe it's part of the Hard-Core Doomers persona, I dunno...

There is wisdom in "letting go" that they have yet to embrace. Oftentimes highly emotional situations resolve themselves when enough time is allowed to pass and scabs are left to heal.

That's one way to get rid of her and anyone else who posted on that thread.

I attempted to just "lock" the connect the dots thread. I tried a half dozen times. But for some reason, the forum software wouldn't operate on that thread. (Cosmic rays perhaps?)

No choice but to blast it.

Abby is still free to post in the TIO special interest group. For the time being, she is PNG in the main room.

Three posts and it's a SPAM? GMAFB! So why is Dennis Olson here defending himself? I thought he hated this place!

-- beats me (beatsme@????.com), August 21, 2001.

Censorship before your very eyes. Power hungry people always feel threatened when they're about to lose it all.

Double that yawn cin*yoo is cool*

Abby, it wasn't just three. You were intentionally lining them up at the very top when the Sysops finally acted. Posts with no content at all, except they were identical whines. Nothing to call it BUT spam.

-- Who cares (what@who.me), August 21, 2001.

Who cares,

Yeah, it wasn't something you agreed with, so it must be spam. Spam must be deleted.

Thought police,

-- TP (you@should.care), August 21, 2001.

Series of identical posts = spam.

Nothing to do with agreeing or not agreeing.

-- Who cares (what@who.me), August 21, 2001.

"Three is not spamming."

Two's company. Three's a crowd. Four on the sidewalk's not allowed.

Abby reminds me of a rather loonie lady with a rose that once spammed other boards. Could it be?

-- (Same@Old.MO), August 21, 2001.

I hope this isn't taken the wrong way, (although some might), but I do have a question.

Why does any contention on the "other" board attract so much attention and discussion here?

I realize that there might simply be some antangonism by some posters, but I really am at a loss as to why you care. The "uncensored" nature of this forum allows a totally unrestricted discussion of any topic you choose.

This is not to suggest that posts there shouldn't be discussed here, (or anywhere), I'm just curious as to why contentious posts, rather than those posts with significant content, attract so much more attention.

Bong, bong, on the head, eerrrrrrr..... If anyone posted on TB2K what was posted here, one would be deleted immediately. People come here to post their free thoughts and feelings without the threat of being deleted or censored. Isn't it ironic that many from TB2K come here to vent their angers and frustrations.

You asked the question: I'm just curious as to why contentious posts, rather than those posts with significant content, attract so much more attention."

Well, maybe this post lacks significant content, but you answered it. Why did it attract you?

-- delete me (deleteme@delete.delete), August 21, 2001.

It works both ways. Contentious posts here or on Uncensored were discussed on the EZ-Board version of TB2K on several occasions. Most of the posts were brought over there by Dennis himself. Then he would have a good laugh and call us "The Debunkie House O' Trolls" and tell everyone how glad he was that he didn't have to hang out here. Then the sheeple would all nod their heads and agree and then predict our demise with the same accuracy they had when they predicted the consquences of Y2K.

I was trying to get everyones attention that there was no live broadcast and it was a hoax that Dennis believed. It was almost the hour that the show was supposed to come on. When you've been led to believe you just caused the world to end you try and make it right, I have been a part of TimeBomb for awhile now and I was trying to help. Now I am trying to find out who set me up and why, I think I know why, well I will not be censored and be apart of timebomb. Just doesn't seem to make sense to be apart of a board that exposes everything but they still have censorship. WHY!

-- Abby Lane (abbylane2001@hotmail.com), August 23, 2001.

Why? Because big egos with small dicks felt threatened and intimidated. It's a Control Thang and you refused to be assimilated.
