I'm more than a little confused here. I read about the Stewart Best stuff, and this had NOTHING to do with posters from the WWW. One can [and DID] suggest that a poster from the WWW STARTED this whole thing about Abby, but *I* didn't see it happen that way. What *I* saw happen was in a thread *I* started about how folks had come together to discuss Y2k. In that thread, I asked a question about how many had been influenced by the Christian media and Z thought I was asking where the Christians were and indicated that they were all on another forum except for Abby, who remained at TB2k.

THEN, someone who'd apparently been a poster at TB2k chimed in about how Abby was ruining TB2k and [my suspicions only] started a new thread about her. IMO, this is something that should have never left TB2k [or the new forum that the poster presumably started where she was not invited.] It could have been taken to that Take It Outside sub-forum, and it eventually WAS. I think to suggest that the regulars HERE on WWW were at the root of all this is simply incorrect.

I believe that this poster, listed here at Unk's as us@us.us, was full of shit re: this "new" forum. Many of us clicked on the link he/she provided and it was a bogus addy, just like most of them here.

I think this person just simply had it in for Abby, or TB2k, or life in general. Who knows? It's truly unfortunate that some people just can't live and let live. I'm not naive enough to think that we can all "just get along". Ain't gonna happen and God knows I enjoy a good fight, errrr, discussion every now and then myself. It ceases to be fun when the poster rather than the post becomes the issue, however.
