Anyone have any info on a Gieser sawmill, just purchased one-big pile of wood and iron. Would appreciate any info on rebuilding, operating, reference material, pictures--- Anything would help. Thanks Jason

Like alot of old mills, I would guess the company has gone out of business along time ago. But the good thing about a mill is you can make or retro parts from other brands as long as you have the setworks and headblocks working. I have built feedworks from stock overthecounter parts before. It's a bunch of work, but not really all that complicated. A true saw collar and a good saw hammered just right are the keys to making a mill run right.

I still have the mill myself and father put together out of a couple old mills. I don't run it for hire anymore, but it's ready for my use at any time.

As to photos, maybe you could get some sales info from places that still sell mills, such as Meadows. Think they might have a site here on the web.
