Bloody Injuries!!!!!

I'm sick to death of hearing about injuries to Newcastle players. How can we ever expect to have anykind of consistency we're constantly suffering setbacks, and to our star players at that. I'm really starting to worry about the standard of our training and physio etc... Something's going wrong and it pisses me off!!!! I feel really sorry for Cort, he must feel gutted with this new setback. However I'm starting to wonder if we've bought ourselves our very own Darren Anderton. Will Cort ever be fit???????

I'm confident Cort will be fit by at least September. Apparently, the Chronicle story was pessimistic to say the least, as Cort just didn't come through the game, he didn't worsen his injury in any way.

I think we've all wondered about the standard of training and physio treatment with all the injuries we've had. The physio team has been the same since Keegan was here and only Bobby has suffered with the injured players, so it's either bad training or damn bad luck.

Keegan's side played fast pass and move football. Players never had the ball at their feet for any length of time (apart from Ginola), so they were never tackled so they never got injured. Ever since we've slowed down and picked up more injuries. A static Shearer is the prime example

Said this before and I will stand by my opinion , problem is no one in football has compiled stats on this subject concerning injuries , Softie start this off and you could become a cult figure in world football, I do not need the royalties , pass them on to Little Softie. You may need the assistance of Dr Bill for tecnical information, stay away from Physios at Newcastle, they will plagurise my theory -:

IMHO that the pace of the modern game allied to the set training patterns used for all members of a professional football club can cause and does cause more injuries to the footballer (esp attackers) whos`e arse is higher above the pitch as opposed to the players who have a low center of gravity, ie those whos`e arses trail the pitch, I can name a few of top of my head, Cort, Dunc , compare them with Scholes and others who rarely miss a game. I am serious on this one , never seen a miler do similiar training to a 400 m man, think about it , you may be surprised , **MacBeth this is a bbs thing, nowt to do with your committee!!!

I blame the weather. It's too cold up her. We should re-locate to Torquay.
