Redknapp (James)greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
Almost too ashamed (but not quite) to report this because it's idle rumour from TOTT via soccernet. However YBR'S latest signing, to be revealed today, is apperently one Jamie Redknapp.
Could be just the ticket, I reckon, but then the words 'believe it when I see it' have never seemed so apt.
Then again, considering his injury record, he'd fit right in.

Exactly why do people immediately reply to themselves on this board?

I've no idea Shags

Haven't you Jonno?

Alternative PossibilityActually Shags, it's to put the thread on the Answers Page. Never seen the point myself but then it does lead to imaginative use of the letters AP.
Interesting rumour - I am concerned about his injury record - we seem to collect crocks like - like something that collects a lot of crocks.

The thread moves onto the answers page whoever posts second - or am I missing something of dribbling-idiot proportions?

Some folk can't be ar*ed to keep checking the New Questions page.

Hmmmm Jamie Redknapp. Once a bright star of a fading team, then injury and bad luck took their toll. Struggling to regain place in side. Popular lad (see their UEFA cup presentation). Always seems to be crocked.Of course we'll sign him. That treatment room won't fund itself, y'knaa

Yes but he can lift three cups without once lacing his boots up, must be amazing.
-- Anonymous, August 16, 2001
he can lift three cupsHardly a skill we're likely to need is it ...?

I dunno Jonno. Despite YBR's squad pruning, there's still quite a few tits on the books ;-)

According to Teamtwaddle today, Redknapp is about to open talks with L'pool about signing a new contract

When fit, Jamie Redknapp is one of the best midfielders in this country, but a fir Jamie Redkanpp is going to be next to impossible to prise away from Liverpool. Chelsea or Arsenal would be a likely destination if he was moving away.If we could get him though, he'd be a class player to have.

Amazing Postings ;7)

We should sign him - then Louise may come and watch the games
