Doesn't anyone care about Fritz?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : orienteer kansas : One Thread

If I hadn't already used up my quota of three messages for the year (according to Snorkel, no doubt the authority), I would post a report about the great performance by Fritz at the O'Ringen, not only "top ten" overall in his class, Open 6, but also top ten every individual day as well! But since I can't post anymore, well, you'll have to find out from someone else....

Fritz' peformance is especially impressive given that he decided to run the Oringen about a week before the competition and flew from KC to Stockholm (via Cleavland and NY, I think) arriving on the morning of the first day. He must have just about been over the jet-lag by the end of the fifth day.

Thanks Peter. But truly while I might be in the top ten on day one, you'll only find me in the 'Direct' category that day for level 6, not the 'Open'. I was fortunate to be allowed to switch from the Direct to the Open. In folks are interested in getting a wider sense of what the course was like, they can also compare my times with those of the people in the Direct 6 category each day (on winsplits online).
