Build Your Own

Top-of-the-line play sets for the kids are great, but if your needs are more modest or you are up for a project, build your own. Many home centers offer kits in various designs, and these kits contain everything you'll need -- you just add the sweat. If you are feeling creative and decide to design your own, you can still buy the components (swings, slide, etc.) separately. This isn't a project that you will want to stretch out; the kids will make sure you don't.

Home Fire Safety You should keep several fire extinguishers in your home. Check them periodically to see if their effectiveness dates have expired. You will then need to replace them. Keep handy, so when you need them in an emergency, you can get to them quickly.
