GE foods petition to Kraftgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Current News : One Thread |
To: Betsy Holden, CEO of Kraft Foods, Inc. 3 Lakes DR Northfield IL 60093Dear Betsy Holden, CEO Kraft Foods Division:
I am writing to ask you to remove genetically engineered (GE) products from your foods, just as I am trying to remove them from my table.
Transgenic crops - crops which have been genetically adulterated with viral, bacterial, and animal genes - pose human health and environmental risks and I believe they should not be in our food supply until they are better tested and clearly labeled.
Dairy products made with milk from r-BGH treated cows are banned in many countries as possibly contributing to cancer.
For our health and the environment, I ask that you move to GE free production.

The aboveletter could go to any food manufacturer. GE or GM crap is in just about everything you eat or drink, unless you own a farm and can control everything on it. Support your local co-op and whole foods store!

I also found out last night that our local store, Publix, has one brand of milk that says it is free of these unnatural ingredients. You can bet I will be looking for it.
